Professor Zou is an experienced Professional Engineer with more than 20 years of experience and a well-known international reputation in Mining and Petroleum Engineering. His expertise includes rock mechanics, underground design, stress analysis, highwall/slope stability analysis, numerical modeling, stress measurement, non-destructive rock bolt testing, microseismic monitoring and geohazards prevention. Also knowledgeable in feasibility studies, information management, mine drainage, ventilation, methane control, backfill & tailings dry disposal, drilling technology and well planning. He is a member of APENS & NSMS/CIM.
